In 2023 I was semi-randomly invited to the premiere of a cool documentary featuring motorcycle enthusiasts plotting the NorCal BDR. A few friends then began planning that ride in Sep 2024. When it became clear that I would not be able to take the 10 days off required to leisurely ride from Mammoth lakes to the Oregon border, I planned a shorter ride, starting in the SF Peninsula, hoping on the BDR in Arnold, riding up to Downieville before heading back to the Bay. This is a quick overview of that adventure.
